RecommendedLost Rhino has the best beer in Northern Virginia--in both selection and quality. From their bright and fruity New River Pale Ale to their clean Meridian Kolsch to their chocolate-coffee Dark Hours Imperial Stout (which can hold its weight next to Goose Island Bourbon County), Lost Rhino nails it. German brewhouse-style seating and eats that can be shared. Bartenders are friendly every time I have visited over the past several years. I am also comfortable bringing my small child here.
Great chalk decor but not an ideal place to grab a bite or be outside.
