The lost maples it's one of my favor parks in Texas, I love the trails And the creeks.

RecommendedWe visited during the week. It was wonderful. The temp was about 65 around 8am. In the afternoon it was a bit warm but a breeze blew in everyday in the afternoons and kept it about 85. When we left we wished we could turn around and go back. It was hot without the hills surrounding us.
Just plain beautiful. Love the hike and the views. It's a great get away.
Awesome place, but I lost my Slackine. Will add another star if someone finds it!
Great park! So many good things here but the Park department has dropped the ball here and not cleaned up the trees at least in the old maple grove. The spanish moss has killed many of the trees and many more are close to dying. They obviously can't do every tree but at least the ones they can need to be saved before they are all gone.
