Alcohol is never a problem at this Mexican restaurant, and one look at the menu here will further confirm that. Los Sombreros Mexican Restaurant has a pretty good list of drinks consisting of different tequilas, margaritas, beers (local and otherwise) and of course let's not forget the sangria. All these help you wash down the spicy hot tacos and dishes spiked with salsa dip. Try the tortilla soup here but do leave some room for the crab enchiladas.

We can't get enough We can't get enough of Los Sombreros amazing food and the patio atmosphere is perfect 80% of the year. You truly won't find anywhere else like it in Scottsdale. We've brought along our toddler the last few times as we couldn't resist the enticement of Pollo con espinaca and they have been very accommodating
Love to sit outside Love to sit outside on the Patio on a cool night and sip a NICE margarita with the TOP SHELF tequila. Not to mention the FRESH guacamole is so memorable I am drooling a bit writing this review. Real people serving authentic Mexican food with a smile.
Great carnita Great carnita tacos, guacamole, and fast service. Affordable bill, and the drinks are loaded! I highly recommend.
Wow "Wow I consider myself a Mexican food connoisseur, The food at Los Sombreros is exquisite. It is central Mexican quinine. The lamb adobo is out of this world, a lamb shank in a rich adobo sauce with grilled vegies, beans, tortillas,soooooo good. This is the only place I know of that actually has great mole, the carnitas are wonderful. The new shrimp dish dazzled me. We fight over the Mexican chocolate pie every time. This is making me want to go back now."
Hung Out I didnt eat here but I did hang out and have drinks and chips. The chips were good but the salsa was Fabulous! I probably had 4 bowls of it. Once again, I got my favorite Cruz Tequila Margarita. Steve behind the bar recommended it and made me a delicious one with gran marnier? whatever it was, it was delicious and we had 2 each at the table. I always like a place that recommends my favorite drinks! I would go back, the drinks are good and the atmosphere was nice.
This is more authentic This is more authentic Mexican food -- not the type that's smothered with cheddar cheese or the salsa that you're used to seeing in a jar. Quesadillas are not the type that you would find at say, a Chili's -- two large flour tortillas with some cheese in the middle. They're made of fresh masa and are stuffed with rajas, and are more akin to fried turnovers than your standard Americanized quesadilla. We broke in We broke in our new Zagat's card on our GPS looking for a good Mexican place near our hotel in Scottsdale, and it brought up Los Sombreros. We got to sit outside, which was mostly pleasant on a warm (but very windy) night. The house margarita was probably the best I've ever had. My crab enchiladas were excellent. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back here the next time I'm in town. Very flavorful and authentic Mexican food with good atmosphere for a moderate price
What my girlfriend What my girlfriend and I experienced was fantastic food, wonderful service and just as I remembered it, a great atmosphere had a tasty margarita, just the classic. We ordered the guacamole to complement our chips and salsa; which by the way comes with two salsas, one that is chunky and sweet with a small hint of heat, the other seemed to be tomatillo based and was equally good.
