I've never been disappointed to go here. It's exactly what you pay for. This is one of my favorite spots for a regular day. Great margaritas and everything is very affordable. Love this place!
I've eaten Mexican food in a dozen states and six different countries. One statement that is always true about Mexican food; it's always different. The food at Los Portales Mexican Grill is very good and the prices were reasonable. If you're not fixated on some particular style of Mexican food it will do you nicely. (However, I can't help saying, somewhat with tongue in cheek, it isn't New Mexico style--the very best style there is!)
My first time there, great service, good food and love the margaritas!!! I forgot to ask the name of the lady that was serving our table but she had a great attitude but it was this Monday Nov 22 after 4 when we went there, we were very pleased � good job señorita!
My mom & I went there for dinner on a Tuesday night. It was our first time there... And our last time. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. The waitress never checked back with us and when I tried to talk to what I can only assume was the manager, all he would say is that they were busy and everyone was waiting... I looked around and their was 16 empty tables... So busy they were not. And according to their website it was not a busy time of evening. When our dinner FINALLY came it was mediocre at best.
