I have lived close for 11 years ... Never tried it .. Tonight now i know why.. Went in stood for a few in front of a sigh that said WAIT TO BE SEATED Finally was toldnto just sit After 15 min 2 gentlemen at the bar left because they were ignored waitress shrugged her shoulders Finally got water asked for pitcher of beer Watched the lady scoop the foam (head) off the pitchur with a spoon. Best Mexican food in town.Been going since it opened.Salsa to die for.
We've driven past this place for years on our way to our fave Mexican restaurant in Placenta...our Placentia restaurant is always a long wait, so we tried Los Gallos for a quick fix. Service is usually very good, once in a while they get overwhelmed but maybe 1 out of 20 times. Chips and salsa are spicy and wonderful, the food authentic and delicious. After striking out at our fave Mexican restaurant, stopped at the one as it was next closest to home. Walked in and was told to seat ourselves. That was the last we heard from anyone until we walked out after waiting 10 minutes. No service at all. No water, no "We will be right with you" nothing. Only when we walked out without eating did they talk to us and it was to say "Have a nice evening ". Never going there again.
Good food. Chef is SUPER cool. HORRIBLE service. 3 visits, same rude and slow experience.
Great Mexican food and they have excellent prices!
