This place is THE best for mexican in Dubuque! (this is a better choice than the nw arterial location) amazing salsa, cheese dip, and margaritas! Try the crabmeat quesadilla or the shrimp nachos!
unacceptable and terrible service! This place is terrible the food is very bland. My mother found a black and white worm in her food there. The next time we went back because they were nice about it they screwed up her order and gave her beef instead of Chicken and told her they'd knock off 10% if she took the beef. She ultimatly said no! Then they said well mam everyone else at your table will be done eating by the time u get ur chicken. How Rude! The best (free) salsa in town. Be sure to ask for more if you run out, but save room for lunch or dinner! The fried ice cream is delicious, too.
Mexican Dining The food there is muy excellente(very excellent)! You need to watch what your ordering considering the food is very authentic but if you order something you'll enjoy, you'll be very happy. As a plus the Mariachi Band is very entertaining.
Fast service, fantastic margaritas – Why anyone would go anywhere else for Mexican food in Dubuque is beyond me. The food is delicious and authentic. The service is very prompt, and there's plenty of seating. The free chips and salsa hold you over while you wait for dinner, which usually is less time than you'd expect for a place so busy. And the margaritas are the best in town. The place can be loud, but it's a perfect place for a casual meal or for families.
