This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life, hands down. I definitely won't be recommending this place to anyone, and if they ask, I will gladly refer them somewhere else. We were having dinner and sat there for a few hours, continually ordering drinks (there were two of us). We happened to use the restroom at the same time. This was our first time back in several years. It is still a go-to place. The food was tasty and the house wines were reasonably good. Staff worked hard to make the visit a success. As with any restaurant this popular, it gets a little noisy.
Just returned from a great early dinner. You MUST get there early to get in and seated. They do not take reservations. This is a super popular spot in Los Altos - always crowded. The portions are huge. The French Dip, amazingly good. Don't miss the hot chocolate ice cream sundae.
