Stay far away! I brought my almost 80-year-old mother who had a broken hip, and fractured pelvis. We asked for oxycodone for the pain and upon looking at her list of medications that her office put in and I had in a bag with me, she said I can’t give you benzos and Oxycodone. We didn’t even know what a benzo was, but it turned out that a pill that she took for anxiety was a benzo. We told her not to prescribe that one, and to please prescribe the oxycodone.
