I’ve stayed at many Kimpton hotels in the past and I’ve always had great experience, until my recent stay at Kimpton Lorien.The receptionist was unpleasant to say the least. The hotel didn’t feel as clean as the other Kimptons. They don’t provide complimentary water and they didn’t have any for sale! That was frustrating because we checked in late and couldn’t buy water anywhere. Please make sure you hire right people for reception!
Recommendedeverything about this hotel is perfect!! it is the only place we stay when we travel to the VA area.
First night was not a pleasant one the guy on duty would prefer to sit and gossip with females than do his job. The next day was the total opposite the lady I'm guessing was a manager straightened everything out and made our stay very enjoyable so customer service was an A! We ended booking another night. We had a room on the 6th floor with a terrace overlooking the city.
A very nice boutique hotel. Located in a very vibrant and a high-end district. The hotel staff is very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to everybody
The spa is great and Twyla gives the best massages! Best massage I ever had!
I spent a Friday night prior to dropping my daughter at Union Station on a Saturday morning. I asked upon check-in Friday night that our car be available at 545am for a 6am departure Saturday. It was confirmed it would be ready. At 545am the next morning, our car was not available. I went to the lobby, where I found the front desk and lobby unattended. The Spa has some great treatment options and atmosphere. Beautifully nestled in Old Town, great food and options for casual or more formal dining. Always love our stays.
I stayed there last week and everything was amazing! no one would be disappointed staying here. Located in a wonderful area also.
this hotel in Alexandria mixed up my clients luggage when she checked out on n12/6/19 and at 9pm I had to come from over an hour away to not only return the wrong luggage and pick up the correct one. I had to wait for almost an hour for the front desk manager Rawan to return so I could pick up the correct luggage. When I told her my charge was $450 because not only did she make me wait but I had to take the luggage back out to Virginia and return back to DC.
