Dr. Yamanaka was a supportive and collaborative doctor. She was great in helping prepare me before I had my child, and was so responsive and involved throughout my child's first year. I had breastfeeding issues which caused my daughter to lose a great amount of weight in her first month, but Dr. Yamanaka made me feel secure that my daughter will be fine. She always works with us to find the right solutions to fit my daughter's needs and our concerns.
Dr. Lori Yamanaka is WONDERFUL! Dr. Lori Yamanaka out of Kapiolani is GREAT! I love her and so do my two kids. My kids are soooo good at their check-ups because Dr. Lori has such a gentle and kind demeanor. She's a younger doc (which I like), and she has two kids of her own so she's "been there and done that!" I have had her paged on a couple occasions because I'm a neurotic mom, and she never once made me feel like I was over-reacting (even though I probably was).
