My dad was admitted to Piedmont Athens Regional and she was very rude about having to come in on the weekend to perform an endoscopy on him. My dad lives in Athens and is on the liver transplant list at Piedmont ATL and he was too sick to drive all the way to ATL. Dr. Lucas berated him and my mom for coming to the Athens location and not ATL. As an RN I am disgusted with her bedside manner and no patient should be treated this way when they are sick. Dr. Lucas is AMAZING! She is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, has great sense of humor, and she is really caring. Honestly, I do not take all of these qualities for granted any longer. Thank you, Dr. Lucas!
