One of the newest of the fine Italian restaurants located on The Hill, Trattoria Lorenzo's does an admirable job of keeping up the tradition. Start with of a tasty appetizer of ravioli with goat cheese or roasted eggplant. For pasta lovers, try the fettuccine with tomatoes and mushrooms in a garlic cream sauce. Pizzas are always a favorite. Other specialties include grilled mahi mahi and polenta. For dessert, do not miss the tiramisu.

great food and especailly the bread sticks and butter.
We have eaten there 3 times now and the food has been outstanding all 3 times. It starts with the crispy breadsticks and dips. The blue cheese dip is especially good. The wine selection is good and no matter what you order, it's delicious. The service is usually very good. The last time we ate there, the waiter was not as attentive as our previous experiences but not bad.
Best Italian Food – I have been to a lot of Italian Restaurants in St. Louis and this one is one of the best! I enjoyed everything I have tried. The spaghetti is wonderful, their fish dishes are wonderfully prepared. If you are looking for and great Italian place, this is it.
Outstanding Restaurant The food here is outstanding. Everything on the menu is delicious, you cannot go wrong. Service is impeccable. Be sure to save room for dessert; it is to die for! Pricey, but definitely worth it!
Good food! – Lorenzo's service was really great and I loved the food. It's a beautiful space and everyone was very friendly. One of the best all around Italian spots on the Hill.
Dining on the Hill means more than dressing up for dull food. – The Scene The 100-year-old building's clean beige stucco walls and sparkling leaded glass door give the fledgling restaurant a fresh, tidy facade. Great for a Date – The food was much better than expected. Service was top notch. Server made us feel at home and treated us like her only customers. You will pay for the service and meal but it is well worth it. Ambience would have been much better but there was a large crowd of loud women next to us.
Best Value in Town – This family establishment is nothing but the best value in all of St. Louis. Unusally inexpensive for the usual lack lustre St. Louis Italian food, Lorenzo's never fails to impress. It honestly can't be beat in this town.
Modern Italian at it's Best – Modern Italian cuisine in an intimate atmosphere. Lorenzo's Trattoria has just the right amount of style and class.
