L'Opera is our Cheers in DTLB! We dine here almost every Friday. I like to always try one of Chef Walter's special dishes for the week. The entire team there is very friendly. L'Opera is our go to for family and friends birthday parties, Anniversary dinners and many other occasions. We hosted my parents 50th wedding anniversary there a few weeks ago and they are still talking about what a great time they had. Next time, try the chicken lasagna. It's one of my favorite dinners.
Had a lovely dinner by myself on 4/3 . The food was delicious- beef carpaccio, pasta that was perfectly cooked, and a glass of wine. The place is very pleasant and the service, excellent. Scott, my waiter, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the wine. Will definitely return next time I am in Long Beach.
I recently attended an amazing dinner at L'Opera featuring wines from Chateau Montelena. The pairing of food and wine were outstanding! Chef Walter Cotta is a culinary genius besides being such a humble man. I can't wait for the next wine dinner!
