Long's is a small shop in Issaquah that has a decent selection of carpet in stock along with a broader selection that can be ordered. I needed carpet installed quickly and visited their showroom. They had a constant flow of customers, but always immediately greeted new customers walking in and one of the sales reps would start working with them within minutes. This place is great. I'm annoyed that the only rating that shows up in some places is a year old review by milinz at CitySearch since that almost prevented me from seriously looking here. Almost 1.5 years ago, we got all new flooring in our ~1800sqft home. New vinyl in bathrooms, new carpeting (including 2 sets of stairs), and new wood in the kitchen (newly extended into the dining room in place of carpeting). This place is great. We are so very happy with Long's Flooring , which we just happened to find by luck ! The salesman , Ted came to our house within 2 hrs. of talking with him for the first time . He measured and gave us a reasonable quote that we were pleased with . Next, ordering the flooring and installing were done immediately and perfectly ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. After shopping at numerous carpet stores, and big box stores, I chose Long's primarily for two reasons: 1. CUSTOMER SERVICE. Long's was willing to be flexible with the tear out and installation dates, with time to paint in between. Long's was able to accommodate me at no extra charge. Bill and Wally, their installers, were clean, very helpful, careful with our furniture, and fast. They arrived on time, and finished quickly. They cleaned up after themselves completely. This is the same business as Long's Floors, but they have moved to 22141 SE 56th St., next to Brown Bear Car Wash, near Issaquah's Costco. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. After 32 years of service, our hall and bedroom carpeting needed to be replaced. A friend recommended Long's so we visited them first. Jayson was just closing up, but cheerfully reopened for us to discuss carpets and look at some samples. We gave our estimated dimensions and discussed cost/sq ft for carpet, padding, and installation.
