About this business
The Longhorn Cafe opened in 1968 and the grandchildren of the first customers are now our regulars. We constantly get stories from our patrons in their 20's and 30's telling us how their granddad snuck them their first beer here. It was often after a football game. The Longhorn opened the doors for business just after Qualcomm Stadium. Of course it was then known as San Diego stadium. Just as then we are famous for serving the best burger in Mission Valley, friendly service, strong cocktails, and ice cold beer.

Can’t wait for the re open.
Decided to take our sailor out to dinner for our final night in San Diego last week. We traveled 40 minutes to get to the restaurant, as google maps stated it was open. To our surprise, the front door had a sign stating they were closed for two weeks for rennovations. I guess it is a bit too much to ask that you indicate this on the sites you are listed on. We did find another place to eat (Corvette Diner), which turned out to be a better choice, since this location looks to be very small.
