RecommendedGreat location with wonderful, condo style rooms. Beach is perfect. They are in the process of remodeling. A better visit once that is completed! There is no pool right now. However, as nice as the beach is a pool really isn’t needed. We loved it!

So very disappointed to arrive today to check in for the 4th and also our 40th wedding anniversary to find extensive renovations being done. Pool is closed, no room service after 5 pm and restaurants closed as well. When I made the reservation the girl mentioned renovations being done but NEVER once said anything about the extent of them no pool etc. Needless to say we would have made other arrangements this year. We have been coming here for over 20 years and always raved about it. Sadly this will probably be our last year.

I recently tried to make a reservation with the longboat key resort spa facility as a surprise for my mother’s 70th birthday and had been on phone and email correspondence with one of the spa staff members prior to coming down to Longboat Key, Sarasota. I was asked initially if I was residing at the club at which point I said no but was staying at one of the other resorts close by on the key.
