This is our fourth stay at LBKC. The improvements to the property and rooms were noticed and appreciated. We were celebrating our daughter's 9th birthday, and the staff went out of their way to make her day special. From "welcome back" Belgian chocolates to cookies & milk delivered to our room. The front desk also fulfilled our request to stay in the same lagoon view room that we had stayed in the past. I can't say enough good things about this resort. Beach great, Gulf great, facilities great and employees great. Friendly and helpful.
Would love to give it 5 but not deserving. We enjoy our stays but do wish they looked into adding an adults only pool. Virtually impossible to swim or relax in the pool with so many children jumping, playing ball, swinging noodles, etc. Two days there were nine infants in swim diapers in the pool. Yuck! We try to spend a few days there every year, hoping we hit a time with less kids, but ☹. Our package with breakfast included was great. Since we usually dine off site, I can't rate the restaurants. Best resort I have ever been in to. It has EVERYTHING.
When my husband & I are looking to escape and relax, this place is always at the top of our list. Rooms are clean, spacious & comfortable. Service is always excellent and they offer all the amenities you could hope for. No need to leave the property but if you choose to, its only a $7 Uber ride to St. Armand's Cr. They also offer a shuttle service. The best part is the quiet, private beach! Great for couples or families!
