At this Huntington Beach pub devoted to beach bums and tourists who happily find it, Longboard entices visitors with its laid-back atmosphere and relatively cheap eats. Since this is Huntington Beach, it is no surprise that this pub's decor is pure surf side shack. Longboard also functions as a sports bar, where you can always catch a game on the telly. The menu features salads, sandwiches, tacos, entrees and the beer selection is usually excellent.

Great Brunch Although Longboards is our favorite hangout night and day their brunch is especially great. The famed Sharkees and Sugar Shack are always packed and it's so much nicer to avoid the crowds and head to Longboards for their shrimp, tomato, and green onion omelette.
horribe service I don't think I've been too many places where I have recieved worse service, though I probably just had a bad server since everyone else seems to like the place. I got there with a friend at 1:30, wasn't greeted for ten minutes, took 15 minutes to get the bar drinks once ordered, our order wasn't taken until we'd been sitting there for about 20 minutes. Our appetizer took about 35 minutes-the waiter stopped twice to say the food would be "right up" but we didn't recieve the food until 2:35 (more than an hour ... read more
Busy Place This is a place you go to when you want a fun bar experience. It's best in the summer when you can sit out on the patio and just do some people-watching while drinking and eating and having fun. Drinks are good and food is standard. Pricing is reasonable for Main Street restaurants.
Love Longboards! How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Want to get drunk on a Saturday night? Longboards can do that for you. Want to eat a delicious brunch? Longboards will feed you til you can't eat the rest of the day. Need a great clam chowder? Yep, you guessed it - Longboards can deliver that as well. All in all, there is a great mix of people in a comfortable, downtown HB environment. You'll totally feel at home among the normal pretty people, rather than feel out of place with the complete sloshes across the stre... read more
