This is a perfect motel to stay in if you want a central location to view ships, eat out, and shop. This motel is within walking distance to everything. The room was clean and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly. We stayed in this motel end of July. We will definitely be back again to visit this summer!
RecommendedIdeal for our freighter chasing long weekend. Excellent location. Clean. Friendly and attentive owners and staff. They even set out two chairs on the little deck by our room so we could watch the boats lock through. Can’t wait to go back to the Sault. We have found our preferred place to stay here at the Long Ships Motel.
Very clean and very accommodating. The only complaint we have is that our TV was very tiny (RM5).
We just spent 4 days here for our honeymoon! This hotel is amazing. You can literally see the ships passing through the locks from your room. It is also right across the street from an entrance to the locks park and downtown/shopping/restaurants are steps away. The Longships is VERY clean and the staff is super friendly. Great location, clean rooms, good price. We were in town for the Gus Macker, which was with walking distance. The staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. We will not be staying any where but here in the future

Small, comfy, and cozy; the staff is great. Literally right across the street from the Locks. Walk out of your room and watch the Boats go by. Can't wait to come back.
