Awesome place to stay. Stayed in July & Sept both times very enjoyable. Rooms are very clean & have all necessities. Bob & Nancy make your stay so pleasant.

We were regulars at this motel until one time when we were involved in an accident on the way to SSM and had to return home. No compassion.. charged for the stay anyways. I know "rules are rules" but exceptions can be made. Do yourself a favor and go to Lockview Motel...its cheaper, every room is redone, and there is an open gate to the park directly across the street.
Long Ships Motel what a gem of a find! Location could not be better. Absolutely loved the decor, down to the freshly painted outer doors. Completely redone on the inside and so beautiful. Do not let the outside deter you. We stayed 7/6/19. Highly recommend 😍
When we checked in, they are remodeling the whole motel. They told us it would be $4.00 more because of remodeling. Well OK... we paid it and remember we had a confirmed reservation of date and price. After seeing the room, I wondered where they remodeled. The toilet rambled all night long. the tub was from 1950. We got out early. We would not recommend Long Ships Motel. -5
Nice motel across from the locks,the only problem I have is the office closes at 10:00pm even if you have reservations,I got a call to inform me of this at 05:00pm and was 200 miles away,but other then that it’s nice.
Perfect location, great staff!
Awesome first time stay. Customer service is great!!! Working hard to improve their rooms. Will definitely stay again!!
