My friend and I went kayaking while on vacation in Charlotte. She was a newbie and nervous; Frank did wonders helping her feel comfortable paddling and balancing before we went out. Awesome place; better people. We hope to go back! (gotta get one of those awesome tshirts)
Frank, the owner was great, knowledgeable about his equipment. And about the river. Super helpful in navigating. Tons of different kayaks and stuff for rent at great prices. Easy to find right off the main road. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new adventure!, and maybe a new hobby!
My daughter and I had the absolute best time paddle boarding and kayaking at Long Island paddle sports. Would definitely do this again. Frank is awesome! It is affordable in comparison to other places! It is must!
My brother was in town from IL so my hubby, Puppy and I wanted to show him the fun of kayaking. We had an AMAZING time, service was wonderful and prices were economical plus Sasha's was great for an after kayaking dinner and drink.
Frank is the best and he will take the greatest care of you for such a great price! He knows all about the lake and will show you around, it will be sure to be a great time!
This was our first time paddle boarding. Long Island Paddle Sports was the ONLY place we could find in the Lake Norman area that was open on a Monday, rents for more than a couple of hours, and gave us free lessons before we headed out! Other places required prior paddle board experience or charged extra money for lessons. We had a great time and the service was great too! We will definitely be back again!!
