I have built with long island homes 2 years ago. To start during the initial process, all went well then as the build went on things took a turn. It has now turned to well after the maintenance period, which was supposed to be completed well into the first year of the build. It has now been 2 years and waiting for my final item to be finished. The quality of the house they build is very poor, you need to check even on the roof, if i may say you probably need to hire building inspector, as i just discovered mine, but it is out of warranty based on what they told me, very unprofessional finish by their contractor for my roof.
These guys are a nightmare—avoid them at all costs. They’ve earned the nickname 'Long Sinking - Lemon Island Homes' for a reason! Their sales team will sell you on the dream of a perfect mansion, but once the actual build process begins, everything unravels. The client liaison is a disaster, constantly forgetting what's in your plan and offering no updates when you enquire. Me and my friend wanted to build double storey house and called them to get some idea on double storey houses and just to get the address for their display homes with void and their answer is to go and check the website, when their website doesn’t even show and display home addresses. What a poor communication and poor website. Don’t bother wasting your time and stay away from them as everything is on their website according to them which doesn’t even open properly.
