So grateful for Dr Malka, he spayed my fur-baby bunny AND eased my super worried nerves. His explanations were thorough and his manner with Snickie showed me how much he loved his job (: He even followed up afterwards to see how she was doing!!! Thanks again for everything Dr. Malka and team!

I'm extremely happy with Dr.Malka & his amazing staff! Dr.Malka is highly knowledgeable & understandable. He's the MAN!!! At 1st, I was completely scared coming to this clinic, because the 1st attempt of getting my bunny spayed at a previous facility was disastrous!!! The procedure wasn't performed, because my bunny's heart stopped under anesthesia. I have had bad experiences with avian vets before, so my first time here had me nervous. I can honestly say that I couldn't be happier that this clinic opened. Dr Malka took time with me and my caique during the exam and follow up. I was happy and impressed with his concern on home care and feeding, didn't just treat my parrot as another appointment. Dr. Malka took great care of my Parakeet Aggie when I noticed her vent was missing feathers. When he received the bloodwork he quickly got back to us and suggested the care we needed to get for Aggie. Things were looking up but it was just too much for my baby bird. After Aggie's passing he ensured that our two other parakeets, Inkblot and Riptide, took the preventative measures necessary to keep them healthy. Dr. Malka and Long Island Bird & Exotics Veterinary Clinic are excellent. They took great care of my son's guinea pig after he suddenly stopped eating and drinking. They nursed him back to health and he is home safe and sound. Thank you Dr. Malka and your staff!
