Long distance movers are honest, efficient and professional. I did a lot of shopping around. I am glad I chose them. The weather was extremely bad and I was afraid they will not show up but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the red truck on my street at 8:30am in the morning. The move was completed within the estimated time frame.
Very professional, reasonable prices, great service before and after the move. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and anyone who is moving. The movers, , showed up on time, worked hard, and were careful with everything. Their experience showed. Charges were exactly what I was told on the phone, no add-ons.

3 Bedroom, about 1 good size truckload. My previous move with 2 Men & a Truck resulted in broken furniture, a few damaged walls, and took about 12 hours. Total cost was over $1k or about 200% of their quote. 2 years later moved again with Long Distance. My place was packed up in 3 hours, unloaded and completely finished in another 2 hours, and nothing was broken or damaged. Adam arrived on time to give us an estimate. He was courteous and attentive to detail. The day before the move they called to confirm our appointment. The men arrived on time, 7:00 AM and looked over the situation and began work immediately. They were friendly, careful and listened to our requests for handling of certain delicate items. Long distance movers met and beat my expectations! We were referred by a friend who recently moved. We had a tight time table and a LOT of extra stuff due to our occupations. We originally had 4 movers, but half way through the day they asked if they could add 2 more to get the job done faster, and we agreed. They also went for a second truck. I used Long Distance for the second time for a move. This is the BEST moving company out there. Professional, on-time, on budget (these guys are very competitive and they don't charge extra for a beginning/end of month moving date), efficient, friendly, hard-working, and reliable. I was really nervous about hiring a moving company after all the stories in the news about movers being arrested and really corrupt, etc. I phoned around for quotes because we had done most moves ourselves. The other companies I spoke to were so overpriced! They gave me a reasonable price and had great reviews so I figured they were a good choice.
