There is no finer pet care than Long Animal Hospital and both Dr. Killoughs. I have been coming here for more than 30 years and never had a complaint. Everyone is caring and compassionate and the new hospital is clean and well run. The care here is exceptional.

I cannot express how touched we are to have received a sympathy card after having to put our beloved dog down. They took there time to write us personal messages in side. It was unexpected and brought be to tears. I will forever choose this vet for future pets!

All I can say is thank you. While in Charlotte on business my dog Sprocket was struck by a copperhead snake. When I googled veterinary hospital Long animal hospital was the first one that showed up. When we walked in I told him I did not live here but they took sprocket in immediately. They brought her back to me within five minutes smiling and saying she was a very lucky dog. Apparently the snake did not break the skin and she is fine. The same cannot be said for her daddy. Thank you so much for treating her immediately.

Be very careful with these people. They tried to scam me out of a lot of money by trying to get me to approve needless tests and surgery for my cat. The cat simply hand an infection that was causing some swelling from a cut when he was outside. These people's vet claimed that she had a fracture. My advice: 1 - Always record your visits when you go to this place! 2 - Never trust their opinion. 3 - Always get a second opinion.

Just want to say thank you for taking care of my boy last night. The staff was so helpful and the service was excellent. Hope we don't need to visit the emergency vet again in the middle of the night but if we do, it's great to know you're there.
