i am not sure whether he is advertising or trying to help. probably the first one. i could be over analyzing something but the two times i've been in there, my eyes start to sting, whenever i get out, they're fine. ??? he also has a certificate that says "dr. sundp patel has completed the couse in dry eye boot camp." (no, i didn't spell them wrong. that's what it says.) my mom is the one who gets her eyes checked there, but everything just seems so... salesman like. i like the other staff, but not really the doctor himself. ... read more

Dr Patel is amazing! The technology in the office far surpasses the technology most other eye Dr's routinely use, and they are amazing with my special needs daughter. The importance of eye health on your vision many eye Dr's don't explain. The detrimental effects that technology and screens can have of your eye health. They have a machine that will tell you the health of your lubricating eye glands which many other offices don't even use if they do have the technology, but at Dr Patel's office it is part of your annual exam ... read more

I have known and been treated by Dr Patel for the past 8 years. He simply is a terrific optometrist who cares deeply for his patients. Oh, BTW, his office doesn't accept my insurance- I have chosen to pay out-of-pocket rather than use a provider with only a co-pay. I'm just that pleased with the service.

I was extremely unhappy with Lone star. We where 5 mins late due to being next door at the Eye Mart since Lone Star didn't have an evident entry. The woman at the desk then told me that my kids could only be seen as walkins if at all today and that they had at least two people in front of them. For only being a few mins late I do not think that was an appropriate response. We left and stopped by the eye dr in Walmart and they saw us right away without an issues.
