I love the quaint, hippy-ish, hole in the wall coffee joints to begin with. The staff were pleasant and my latte was excellent! My son really enjoyed his steamer with vanilla and wants to go back again before we leave. After 10 years of coming to Bend 2-3x a year, this was a good find this trip...Another go to place when we visit Bend again.

This is my go-to coffee shop! The people are great and the coffee is even better!!
Great little coffee shop that always gets a visit when I'm in Bend. friendly, knowledgeable staff with an investment made on quality gear (Mahlkonig grinders) They usually have at least one Ethiopian roast on hand. Espresso drinks are awesome, pour over is just OK. On two visits I've noticed flooded beds on the pour resulting on long extraction times. (this is purely subjective, might be perfect for others)

Hi Gregory, thanks for the great review. By "flooded beds" do you mean poured all at once instead of slow and low in pulses? We do this intentionally to maintain temperature in the brew and to get an even, good extraction (usually at 20-22%). Our technique is based on the work of Scott Rao and Matt Perger.
