The optometrist was nice, but the administration in this clinic is horrible. They screwed up my wife's file and ended up updating someone else (with a similar name) with some of her information, effectively putting her blue cross with someone else's alberta health care number. They issued an invoice with the wrong information for both of us, then said they would fix it and send it to us with our prescriptions (which they also didn't want to print for us while we were there). They are an authorized Carrier retailer but refused to fix my Cartier glasses, just because I hadn’t “bought from them”. But the lady said I “should try Lens Crafter”. If I could give them 0 stars that’s what I’d do. I’m a past customer. But never going back.
I asked then what the cost of a regular lens would be? They told me I had to fill out a prescription first after doing so.They told me their cheapest lens starts at eight hundred dollars.They are a scam
I'm writing to express my disappointment about my recent experience at your clinic. The eye drops prescribed by your optometrist had expired (Nov 2025) - I didn't notice until after using them for two days 😔. Could you please ensure staff checks expiry dates before dispensing medication? Photo attached.
Just a heads up, they "lock" all their test frames in the racks. Nothing is more uncomfortable than needing to have someone standing there staring at you to "unlock" the glasses you want to look at. The general vibe I got was "please stop wasting my time" Their men's selection is very, very limited (I was shown 1 wall section), and are basically all entirely the same.
