Loved it! Wished we didn't live 1500 miles away...
Worst and most unkind sevice staff I've ever seen! Plastic cups, dirty knives and forks, etc. We had bruschetta as a starter and I can tell you immediately minimum 100 restaurants where you can get it better. Pizza was ok but really nothing special. They just have success because of the name / long history. We're now since 5 days in NY and this Restaurant was the worst experience!
I expected the pizza to be fairly good, but didn't expect the pizza to be this amazing. The Boss was delicious!!! That particular combination is magic. The dough, the sauce - superb. Yum!!
The Margherita is the quintessential pizza of New York. The crust is amazing and the San marzano tomato sauce was perfectly sweet and fresh. A group of 5 of us had that and a prosciutto, red pepper and pepperoni that was fabulous as well. We will definitely be going back next time.

One of my must visit stops on every NYC visit. Only thinking about Lombardi's pizza makes my heart and tummy ache. SO. GOOD. NY pizza is the best pizza in the world for me and Lombardi's is among the cream of the crop. Can't wait until next time.
