Outstanding Pie excellent service well worth the wait.
The worst pizza I ever ate. Tasted like cardboard with sugar on top. I am so disappointed they used to be so good. Now they give you paper plates , plastic cups. It's like an assembly line instead of a historical landmark . Stay away.

The pizza is on par with Louie & Ernie in the Bronx, or Grimaldi's in Brooklyn which is pretty darn good. Major difference is that at both of those places a large sausage and pepperoni will set you back under 30 dollars. At Lombardi's which seems to be trying hard to be more of a date night pasta house a large 2 topping pizza and 1 beer runs $44 dollars, add in 15 percent tip and its $51 dollars and you eat off FAWKING PAPER PLATES. Pizza was good. If you want the experience of the 1st pizzeria in America. Okay. But, 2 pizzas, one dinner salad and 2 cokes (no free fills). $92. ��
There is Lombardi's Pizza then there is everything else. The pizza is top notch. The service is great and its open pretty late. It has become a regular stop when I'm in NYC. You might even rub elbows with a celebrity or two.
Have heard thousands of times of this place but time was never on my side. Thanks to "Food Paradise" on TV yesterday for showing this place. I surprised my wife today with some fabulous weather and phenomenal pizza.
