NOT impressed! Parents drove an hour to eat here with family, decided to bring me back some since I couldn't make it there... brought me burritos- it was seriously disappointing- it had no cheese, no lettuce, no tomatoes, no sour cream (although it was requested), all it was was two flimsy tortilla shells OVERFLOWING with meat. Not only was there a ton of meat and nothing else in these, they covered one of the burritos with MORE meat on top of it. It was just gross. Ratings depend on how much you drink!!!! My husband took me to Loma Linda's because he knows that is one of my favorite places to eat and I love the margaritas. They really pissed me off when I tried to get another drink and they wouldn't give it to me. My husband was drinking water so I coulud drink but they cut me off!! Visit everytime we come in town! – I live out of town, but everytime we come back to Toledo Loma's is the first place we go to. The food is great, atmosphere is awesome, and you can't beat their margaritas! Service is always wonderful! Looking forward to my next visit home so I can get a strawberry margarita and a mexican pizza!
Worst Food – Terrible experience, american cheese served on all mexcan dishes when asked for a substitution for white cheese. they would not allow that. I even offered to pay the difference.My sister claimed that the salsa was straight out of a jar ( La Victoria).. Neice ordered a tostado which she was unable to eat. My daughter had a hamburger (frozen) which she did not eat.. I will make the trip to Canton Michigan at Mexican Fiesta the next time I want a good mexican meal..
Great food! Excellent service! – My family and I dined at Loma Linda's last night. We had fast service and excellent food. Our waitress greeted us quickly and with a smile. She brought our food equally as fast. She did not bring chips to the table. When we inquired she replied that the restaurant is family owned and in order to keep prices low, they charge for the chips. No big deal, I think they were 75 cents. We fed our family for $33.00 with appetizers and cocktails! Great night out!
Not Impressive – A couple of my friends and I went out to try something new and decided on LLs. We, almost immedietly, were very disappointed. I found the service to be rude. I was confused on why we had salsa on our table with no chips. Being familiar with Mexican restaurants and what a night out in these atmospheres usually consists of, I thought maybe they had forgotten the chips. From number 1 Best Margarita's to just OK food was – What hapened ? change in ingredients? Your Margarita's used to be the best anywhere and I mean anywhere. I've been a patron of LL since 1967 . W hen I turned 21 the one and only place I wanted to have my first (legal) drink was a Margarita no ice at of course at LOMA LINDA'S. Fun atmosphere – For being a ways outside the city, Loma Linda's is always hopping. Their food is pretty good... a mix of authentic Mexican, "Americanized" Mexican and straight out American food. The pulled pork tacos are awesome! But if you are looking for excellent authentic Mexican, you may not like this restaurant.
Well, at least the nachos are good! – I eat here about every 3 years. They still haven't improved upon their taco meat. Do not order anything with seasoned ground beef! It is the worst I have ever had. It makes Taco Bells seem like fine dining. But they do have great nachos and fried Ice Cream.
