I have never experienced such disappointment at a salon but this one today. Waste of time to commute here, not find any parking and worst not end up having anything done for the day. They ended up doing a consult and hair strand test as I had dye in my hair, to see if the colour I wanted would be achievable and they were hinting it wasn’t going to be, but we still went ahead with it. Just had my first haircut after years of doing it at home and Kat did such an amazing job! On top of being super kind she also really took the time to listen and understand what I was looking for. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
I’ve accessed different tiers of stylists at this salon, including senior ones, but overall the experience has been hit or miss. One senior stylist told me she didn’t want to lighten my hair because it was “too dark” and insisted on a patch test which is fair in some cases, but it felt more like hesitation than care. I ended up going to another salon that had no issue working with my hair and actually took the time to get it right.
