Hands down my favorite 'secret' spot for food-minded friends in the Mission. They have never failed me for casual atmosphere with service and quality far exceeding the price-point. I am looking forward to having my birthday party of 12 in the side-room!
Tapas on steroids – This place is for those in the know. Frequented by Mission locals, it's for the young and adventurous. My first thought was that the portions were huge for tapas, so we didn't end up trying as much as we would've liked - because everything we had was excellent. some good, some just okay – i actually wandered into Lolo thinking that it was a remodeled Vogolonga but when i realized that it was something completely different i was up for the new experience. the wait staff was very friendly and personable making the experience quite delightful. the food was good but i felt like they were trying too hard with some of the dishes and they could have been somewhat simplified. my only real complaint was the noise level -- it was much too loud in the side room and they should invest in some ... read more
