Have been a Logos user since version 1.x. The software is much more than a "Bible search engine". The tools in Logos software enable the Pastor, Priest, clergey and laypersons with an ability to knock, seek and find what is in the Word of God.
After carefully researching the different software programs, I finally settled on Logos, it is hands down, the best in the industry!
This software and its incremental improvements saw me through my MTS and my Ph.D, and are now helping me as I feed the sheep of my congregation. I can't begin to think about how many hours of study, research, and writing Logos has saved me. It's a powerful program, but it's also a blessing from the Lord!
The software is good when it works. However, I have called their customer service and let me say that it's the worst customer service I have ever called. Worse than Sprint. I have spent over $11K on Logos and they treat my like a third rate customer. Today, a customer service rep said he was going to put me on hold indefinitely because I asked him to trouble shoot a problem. This company just wants to make money, they have no desire to help.

I've used Logos Bible software for almost 25 years, it's truly a great study tool. You can search to find anything quickly and easily using simple or complex Boolean logic features, searching in English or the original language text. It keeps the text in sync between various Bible translation, commentaries, dictionaries, encyclopedias and other references; and you can effortlessly bounce around the various texts, highlighting, taking notes, collaborating with others. Powerful searches on numerous resources make this a very helpful tool for personal Bible study and teaching/preaching aid! The free books they give away every month aren't bad either. If all you do is download the software and avail of the free monthly resources, in a little while, you will have built a library of resources! Your resources are yours even if your computer crashes, because they keep track of your account and allow you to download your books on a new computer.
