RecommendedAbsolutely amazing place - so pleased we decided to visit. All the staff and volunteers are so engaged and knowledgeable and ready to talk about all the turtles in their care. We were able to see Honda being wheeled out and placed back in his tank and another turtle having an x-ray. A real treat. My kids loved it!
Very educational and it is ranked very high on the charity watch program. Meaning 98% of the money goes into saving the turtles and not the paychecks of executives.

This is an amazing place. Not only does LMC care for sea turtles but the entire ocean. They have inspired my daughter to learn more and do better for our environment. Great educational acitivities, beach clean ups, and turtle releases!
Good family activity. The volunteers really love the beautiful work with the turtles they do there.
Their commitment to our marine environment is unsurpassed and as a volunteer, I would like say the quality of staff and other volunteers that I get to work with, is held to an exceptional standard.
