As a local, I have always loved going to the Loggerhead center just to visit the turtles! I took my son a few days ago for the first time and he loved it! Im very big into the conservation of wildlife and the environment and Loggerhead is just that. They’re all about it and the staff is very knowledgeable and willing to answer all your questions.

It is a good learning experience. Everyone needs to be made aware of the mess their trash is making in our ocean. It is also so nice to see how well the turtles are being taken care of.

Fantastic place! We saw a turtle get transported from his tank to the hospital today. There is a nice toddler/kids area to run and play in which I really appreciate.

Saw turtles being cared for and saw a new turtle come in and watched it get blood drawn. It’s cool they’re rehabilitated and Valentina gets to go back soon!

Whenever we are in the area, we head to Loggerhead or “the turtle place”, as our kids call it. Each visit, our entire family has a great time! The mission for Loggerhead is amazing. Below is a link to our blog and vlog, reviewing our recent visit.
