This center is a non-profit facility and a great for place for education, preservation and monitoring of one of the world's most active sea turtle nesting grounds. The center acts as a school, providing internships, tours and programs. Plus the park's amenities include a guarded beach, nature trails and picnic areas, but the main attractions are the leatherback sea turtles.

So amazing! Highly recommend! It's really great what these people are doing to help these beautiful creatures and it's even better that you get a chance to see the rehabilitating turtles for free! I learned so much just from small conversations with the volunteers that were there, everyone is so nice and they'd love to share with you their knowledge of the animals!
We visited the Center in January of 2015 and had a wonderful tour with Judi. She was an amazing guide, we learned so much! Her love for sea turtles and knowledge about their individual stories and care was fascinating. We loved watching a turtle receive medicine and treatments after our tour finished. We'll be back!! Thanks for all that you do to save these amazing sea creatures!
The best ever. My grandson had his 5TH. Birthday party there! Fabulous fun & educational. Three years ago I adopted Maria the green turtle. I can't even find the words to explain how wonderful the turtle center is.
This place is AWESOME!!! We spent a few hours at the center, then the rest of the day at the beach. My boys who are 8 and 10 loved every minute of it! I don't know any other way you can get so close to so many of these beautiful creatures. We also watched the Dr.Logger show. He was very informative and stressed the importance of saving the turtles and being environmentally conscious. I would recommend everyone to visit at least once...it's fabulous!!!
Our cousins took us here and I loved every second, beginning to end.... I fell in love with Lennox and wanted to adopt him once I got home to go to their site and then come to find out he was already adopted, so I picked L.C......Can't wait to follow LC's story..... I will be returning to Loggerheads in July and so excited.... Now I have 3 things I love: elephants, Angels and now turtles.... Thnx cousins for a great Xmas weekend .....
