We love this place! Brought my dad who was visiting from Michigan and he absolutely loved your fish dinner!! Great staff and great prices!!
My friend and I took a day trip to Manitowoc and were making our way back home when we stumbled upon the Log Cabin Inn a little after the lunch hour. We were so happy to have found it! Service was great. They were finishing up with a couple of tables so we had a few extra minutes to peruse the menu - which was good because there are SO MANY choices! We love the atmosphere and the staff was great but the food on the hand....... We went to the Log Cabin for the Prime Rib because last time it it was amazing! This time was a different story, no flavor and was tough. I ordered an 8oz Ribeye steak medium rare w/shrimp, when my steak came to the table we were in disbelief if it was the right order because the steak was like a flank steak and well done. I've usually had good experiences here, but today was the worst food I've had. It started with cold dry bread slices. Then I ordered the chopped sirloin med rare and it showed up well done. It was dry, hard and had no flavor. I told the waitress twice it was not good, she just said sorry. No offer to take it back, get me something else or discount it.
