My granddaughter had a bad experience almost immediate upon move-in she lived in a lower unit of the loft. She experienced sewage that backed up into her unit twice, the smell was putrid and hazardous. We literally had to threaten them to the city of Detroit before they could and would solve problem. The most difficult part of her living there was their management team, outside of the several problems she had with her unit she might of stayed longer. It is my understanding that there are problems with the lower level units.
After four years here I'm still happy with it. The property management is top notch from administration through maintenance. Any time a subject comes up the response is swift and professional.
Absolutely horrible. Terrible management. Never respond at all. I’ve lived here for years, it hasn’t gotten any better. Do not recommend. Also, the maintenance guy is extremely creepy.
I've lived here for 5 years, and I'm about to sign on another. The apartment is updated, modern, and stylish. The tall ceilings made great space while I was stuck indoors so much during the pandemic. The maintenance staff are really incredible. They address issues really promptly, they communicate well, and they do a good job. Jonna Co did a great job finding these individuals. Renewing our lease was an easy choice. Our experience over the last year is outstanding. The unit is well equipped and cool. The location is neat. Each interaction with a professional in every business area is friendly and efficient. There are so many positive things to say about New Amsterdam and Jonna. Impressively there is nothing bad to say. Our single favorite feature is how quiet it is. We never hear our neighbors. All thanks to these thick walls! Well done!
