Granted, I was going to be late! I overslept the morning of our son's wedding. I called and said I'll be 10 minutes late. No, thanks. Please don't come. We won't have time for you. It was a simple up do/chingon. I get it, but honestly for the mother of the groom it was heartbreaking.
