The Lodge was absolutely amazing! We were welcomed right in and felt at home the entire time. The family and staff that manage the Lodge were beyond nice. Josh helped our kids play scrabble, got playing cards and poker chips for the adults in our group, and brought lawn chairs outside so we could watch a meteor shower. He also started a fire for us and dried our kids wet shoes. Oh and breakfast was absolutely delicious!! A quiet and peaceful spot to wind down after a day of hiking at Capitol Reef. This place is a hidden treasure.
Serene gorgeous setting The rooms are charming and the setting is breathtaking.
We stay at Red River Ranch every chance we get. Always good food, friendship, and fun!! Great recommendations for things to do in he area and we especially enjoy feeling so relaxed and accommodated!! Thank you!!

We were visiting Capital Reef and had pre-booked the Lodge at Red River Ranch based on guide books. It was far more welcoming and interesting than expected. We had stayed in Zion Lodge and also Bryce Lodge, although the Bryce central lodge was closed for the season, and were a little let down by these lodges and still seeking more of a lodge experience as opposed to a hotel room. We just stayed at the Lodge at Red River Ranch for three nights. Our two boys were in a connected room with two twin beds while we were in a room with a king. The lodge itself is beautiful as well as the grounds, the rooms were nicely appointed and very clean, and the staff was always available to make our stay extra special. They built fires in our fireplace, they had robes/towels for us to use at the hot tub, they offered suggestions for sights to see, and even made reservations for us for dinner each night.
