Editing to clarify: We have had a storage unit here for almost since the place opened. We store business supplies and equipment on site. Never had any issues until it was bought out by Five Star Storage out of North Dakota. Firstly, the app they switched to for opening the gate, well the app was terrible. It did not work 70% of the time. Had to resort to using the key pad to enter the facility. Secondly, since Five star took over, the rates have increased exponentially. My boxes were at my PO box, some were in my car, and I was in dire need of storage when I arrived in Sioux Falls, SD, from El Paso, Texas, last week. New ownership is terrible, rent elsewhere. This place was awesome, locally owned 24 hour access, contactless, etc., since being sold they reduced hours and are no longer 24 hour access, removed the kiosk that was the reason to use them, mandated insurance (but not liability which is nonsense, I don't need 30k in personal property insurance, thanks),and increased rent, they force place garbage insurance at triple the going rate if you don't provide proof every other month, what was $93 a month could easily run $141, nearly a ... read more
