RecommendedIn my humble opinion, Local Whiskey is the gem in downtown State College. The food menu is simple in reading, but in execution it is surprisingly good. Not a great tap list, so not a place to go if you want beer. But the whiskey bible is large and very good. Love the look of the interior as well.

The South Street Cheese Steak was Awesome! My wife loves your burger special. The selection of Whiskies is out of this world. The waitress and bartender were phenomenal! We will be back soon!

My hubby & I ate there for the first time and we loved it and can’t wait to go back. He had the “forget about it”sandwich and I had Ernie’s famous cheesesteak – both were excellent!!
