A great coffee shop! And not just for Metra commuters -- for anyone. Des Plaines has a serious shortage of good coffee, and Local is filling this niche (unfortunately, they are only open on weekdays). Not only is the coffee good -- the staff is friendly, the small space is well designed, and the donuts (from West Town Bakery!) are amazing. Our employees love the staff and friendly service and what a treat it is to have their rich chai tea lattes hot or iced and sinfully delicious donuts.
