The lobster roll with butter was fantastic. The sweet old guy who took my order was awesome! I only give it 4 stars because they didn't have outdoor seating for me and my dog and I had to eat it on a park bench by the water. Not a bad deal, either, but would have rather eaten in-house.
We had a great time at the "Pound" Tues 8/22/17. We got in fairly late, so there was no waiting for a table. Service was excellent, drinks were served promptly, and dinner order taken in a very timely manner. I ordered the Seafood Newburgh, and my wife ordered Baked Haddock! Both of our meals were excellent! Tasty, served hot, and.....we ended up with "clean" plates....no leftovers to take home! Our waiter Shawn was very attentive, friendly, but not overbearing. For us....a very positive experience!
Food was a bit pricey, but very tasty. The staff was incredibly kind and even took our little one back to see the live lobsters. Two days after our visit, he's still talking about it. A great stop for families. Low key, good views and nice atmosphere.
Could use a friendlier wait staff and the food was just ok. I had the fried haddock sandwich and the haddock was mushy and had little taste. The French fries and slaw was good.
