Lobster Shack affords views of both Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse and the Atlantic Ocean. Picnic tables and benches are set up on the rugged coast where you are soaked in the virginal beauty of the seaside, while watching ships sail the tempestuous ocean. The interiors are done up in simple wooden accents and decorated with nautical artifacts. The lobster rolls are worth the trip and so is the scenery!
Very quick, friendly service...view is breathtaking. I prefer to have mayo mixed into lobster but that is just personal preference. Generous amount of lobster but somewhat overcooked.
Atmosphere is clean and friendly. Food is terrific.
Good food and nice location. As a someone raised in Maine, I can say that their fried shrimp and onion rings are as good as any others that you'll find. They have the battering process down pat. On the downside, you pay much more than you should for fried food and the waits can drag on for quite some time. If you show up on a sunny summer day, be prepared to wait more than an hour...just to order!
Great Strawberry Rhubarb Pie!
