I entered the LMH Emergency Department about 8:30 AM this past Monday with significant shortness of breath. I'm a stage 4 cancer patient and pleural effusions and tumor growth in both lungs have been part of my life the past two years. Dr. Davidson of the ED saw me first and quickly brought in radiologist Dr. Richard Kuckelman. Wait forever for them to put in the order for an MRI then get told the earliest availability is this 31st. I'm sorry but what kind of a joke is that? For real? For stuff so serious... it is no wonder Lawrence Memorial has such a horrid reputation, this "health system" is a joke
I had a liver biopsy done this morning, and I can’t express enough how good my experience was. Dr. Kuckelman performed my biopsy and was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. I was terrified going into all of this, but the nursing staff (thank you Kelly!), radiology tech, and doctor explained everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. LMH Health Imaging Services contracts with another group, Radiologic Professional Services, PA, who is led by Dr. Robert Knight. Radiologic Professional Services will send you straight to collections without first sending a bill. We owed around $30 after insurance and the first we heard about owing any money came from a debt collection agency letter.
Not sure how lmh Radiology is getting a 5 but I can guarantee you today if I could write them a 0 rating I would. They already lie to make sure you're there 15 minutes before your actual appointment however, this morning I sat there for almost an hour and no one even bothered to come out and say hey we're running late because of machine issue. It would be nice to be able to build them for my time. My time is just as valuable as theirs. Then i call to reschedule appointment and the guy was rude!!!All because of me walking out... read more
