I’ve had labs coming back slightly abnormal for awhile now. I was advised to see LMG Hematology/Oncology and my Dr. is Dr. Machandani. He is very personable, kind, and explains everything in a manner I can understand. He doesn’t rush me through questions and answers them so I can understand. I currently have a M Protein which should not be there and he explained it is indicative of precancerous Multiple Myeloma but I do not have cancer currently. We couldn’t ask for better care!!
I called as a new patient hoping to schedule an appointment, but the front desk receptionist was surprisingly rude over the phone. It was disappointing and unwelcoming, especially for someone trying to establish care for the first time. Will be looking for care somewhere else.
I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this office unless you want more stress and anxiety in your life. Two and a half months waiting for them to get Infusions approved and they have done nothing and now just tell me I need to deal with getting stuff approved with my insurance myself. No response to my portal message, emails or to my insurance companys multiple letters and many many phone calls. Takes a week to get a callback just to repeatedly be told I need to deal with it instead of doing something about it but refuses to communica... read more
I highly recommend this cancer center, I would give it more than 5/5 if Google allowed it. If you’re unfortunate enough to need an oncologist, this is the place to go. The staff at the front, the infusion nurses, and Dr. Firestone are top notch. The care coordination is a very important aspect of cancer treatments which can be complex and involve many moving parts that all can be time sensitive.
