Excellent food & music
Food is the same as I remember! The place has been around for a while now, and I was happy with my last visit. I got a half and half plate for takeout with chicken and beef. The staff were good and the dining room was clean and relatively empty (it was a Sunday around 2 PM). Would probably revisit if I’m in the area and craving the same thing.
Disappointed! I ordered take out. I had the regular chicken katsu. It was dry, overcooked and no flavor. The only positive was the Mac and cheese salad which was on point. I lived for 2 years in Hawaii amd this dish did not deliver. My husband had the chicken lava. The sauce had a weird grainy texture and he had to wipe it off in order to eat it.
