I purchased an engineered wood floor, after installing half the office room, I noticed that it was squeaking, so I went to the store and spoke to the manager Matt, his response was, you need a premium underlayment at $1.00/SF which is very expensive for an underlayment but I thought, I can't live with a squeaking floor, I was doing the entire first floor 1800sf, we remove the floor and replace the underlayment with the one suggested by Matt. As soon as LL Flooring gets a lot of great reviews on one of their flooring products, they discontinue it. I can't tell you how many samples I have ordered from this place only to go back a few months later to buy 165+ boxes and find that they've discontinued the product. Whoever is running this place is not a good business person. Have you ever heard of giving the customer more of what they like? I know trends change (one shade of grey to different shade of grey, etc.), but who discontinues products with 50+ 5-star reviews?
